Antique vintage 1930s Art Deco Czech Bohemian glass red cabochon brooch pin. Large oval with rows of shiny deep garnet color cabs resembling pomegranate. Intricate filigree openwork with dots that give the effect of marcasite. Border encrusted with smaller ruby colored sparkling crystal rhinestones. Brass or gold wash finish, silver colored metal underneath, non-magnetic. 3" x 1.5" inches. Condition: beautiful older piece with minor wear and signs of age. A few places at edges and back where the gold finish has flaked off. The spaces in the metal frame at one point had a transparent applied layer which has worn off in some spots. Pin clasp still works well. See photos.
