This is a 79 year old NOS Military band issued during WW2 and manufactured by US company, Brite Specialty Co. This is one of our most RUGGED bands as the keepers are metal and will not come loose. Note the Hamilton watch and box that the straps were shipped in are for illustration purposes only (empty cardboard boxes seen in photos that housed 36 bands are available for sale as a separate listing!) These bands were shipped in heavy cardboard boxes with smaller boxes inside (see pic) to various military depots.This type band fits most all of the WWII American made military issue wrist watches (Elgin, Waltham, Hamilton, Benrus, etc) as well as later watches made for Korea and Vietnam – plus many Swiss and German watches. These bands are 5/8-inches (16 mm) wide and are 2 piece bands. They will fit most wrists. The buckle end is 4 1/4 – 4 3/8 inch long while the hole end is 3 1/8 – 3 1/4 inch long. Add the length of your watch to get total length and compare with your wrist size.
