The case back, made of stainless steel treated with rainbow IP, is then repolished to remove the coated layer from only the raised portions on the back of the case. The mysteriously beautiful aurora borealis colors are also captured in the new purple hue of the translucent soft urethane band paired with the rose gold-colored ion-plated band loop and purple ion-plated buckle.
