Includes two reports. The earlier TGC report identifies the stone as a 1.72 ct natural corundum, variety padparadscha, orangish pink, Madagascar origin, with indication of thermal treatment. A later Arizona Gemological Laboratory report identifies it as a 1.72 ct natural pink sapphire, SI1 Type II, with a retail replacement value of $2,700. Because the reports differ on padparadscha classification, I am representing the stone conservatively as a natural heated pink to orangish-pink sapphire with prior padparadscha opinion. Stone has visible inclusions only under magnification, consistent with the SI1 clarity noted on the Arizona report. Reports included in sale.
