It is the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date reference number 1501 stainless steel mens watch with a beautiful original silver dial, a sharp engine turned bezel ring, and it’s original Oyster link bracelet. It is a very nice example of this model which has never been abused, and only infrequently worn. It will be authenticated by ebay’s 3rd party authenticators before delivering to you. This watch is totally genuine Rolex, and totally original. It was recently inspeected, refinished and polished. The case measures 34 mm wide excluding the crown (it’s an average to large sized watch for the time period, not oversized like modern watches, most men would call it midsized by today’s standards). The winding crown is the original twin lock screw down crown with Rolex coronet. It screws down nice and tight. The coin edges on the case back show no improper tool use. The original band to this watch shows very little stretch for it’s age. It is a “folded” Oyster link stainless steel bracelet model 7834-19. It still has all 13 of it’s original links and it will currently fit up to an 7.75 inch wrist. The bracelet has 80%+ its functional life left in it. The crown on the clasp is strong and has not been over polished. The dial has never been refinished and is very nice for it’s age with minor patina. The entire watch is about as good as a vintage wearer gets. The serial number between the lugs has been partially worn off by contact with the bracelet, the fifth digit in the serial number is illegible. The Ebay asdfg program will still authenticate the watch just the same. The pictures have been taken from every angle and represent the watch well, in fact they are 3x magnified, the dial is beautiful, and the watch is polished to a perfect shine.
