CASIO F-184W-1QJH Classic Digital WatchJDM (Japanese Domestic Model) If you want to go deep into 80’s, this hidden gem is my recommendation.The famous F-91W was introduced in 1989 at the end of 80’s, but F-84W was introduced in 1986 in the middle of cool era. This has been a Japanese Domestic Model distributed only in Japan, and the oldest existing “F-Series (Black Digital ver.)” model still in regular production for 38 years (not a re-production or limited model). The face is much more simple and classical than F-91W by not using Italic or Bold fonts, and the green color of “water resistant” letters are humble yet stands-out very beautifully.The unique characteristic of this model apart from current other F-Series is the ‘band’, which gets quickly narrower from lug (18mm) towards buckle (14mm) like a lady’s watch, and the pararallel line pattern on the surface looks very cool.The case size for both width/height and thickness are approximately 1mm each smaller than F-91W. Highly recommended to get one before discontinued in near future.
