Ray is the grandson of Willie and Irene Quam and the son of Vander Tsethlikai Sr and Janice Tsethlikai. He has won awards in the Gallup Inter tribal Indian Ceremonial and the Santa Fe Indian market, and his work is in the collection of the Kennedy Museum of Art at Ohio State University.
