BM Brooch Pin Moonstone Sterling Silver Pansy Small Heavy Signed Vintage 1.25”
This is about 80 years old and in excellent condition. I have not cleaned it. The 7mm moonstone is genuine earth mined with flashes of color. It measures 1.25” long and weighs 8.5 grams. The clasp is interesting with the pin dropping into the top of the clasp instead of the side. It is solid and cast so it has good weight. Manufacturer: Breadner Manufacturing Company (originally founded in Quebec, Canada around 1903). • The Mark: The plain incised “BM” Center Stone: Bezel-set oval cabochon moonstone displaying a characteristic luminous flash. • Era: Circa 1940s to mid-century modern. • Styling details: Hand-hammered or softly repoussé details that give the petals a three-dimensional depth.
