This is an amazing necklace with a very large book chain. The pendant I believe is not original because of the setting on the back, looks newer. The pendant that is adorned in the center is a portrait of Lola Montezand is a reproduction from an oil painting from 1847. She was painted by a German Court painter named Joseph Karl Stieler. Lola was a famous Irish dancer, actress, who was the mistress of King Ludwig of Bavaria. The pendant is a lithograph decal transferred onto porcelain. Measures 15 inches and has a hook closure.
