Vintage butterfly cloisonné sterling silver ring with a wide band design. Crafted in Thailand, this size 7 ring weighs 5.2 grams. Note: some enamel is missing on one side. Estate find. Measures 1/2″ wide. See photos, as there’s significant missing enamel on one side of ring, from rubbing on the inside of the prior owner’s finger. Size: Womens 7

Vintage 1970s Moroccan Berber Hirz Prayer Box Pendant Cloisonne Enamel Locket

A Moroccan box pendant, I think 70s vintage, the top slides open on rails to reveal a small chamber. The three dangling charms are intact and it has vitreous cloisonne enamel on both sides. The blue, green and orange enamel show it was made well before the unfortunate shift in recent times to cold epoxy paint for colors. It’s a silver tone base metal, nothing approaching the craft seen in antique sterling examples, but it’s a rustic looking little thing and surely handmade in the south around Tiznit. I haven’t cleaned it, nor removed little tufts of a straw-like cord still tied to the side bails, presumably from it being strung as a necklace on something like rope. See details below.
