CASIO A159WA-N1DFDigital Watch Stainless Steel BandMADE IN JAPAN This is a derivation of famous A158WA.It looks like the only differences are arrangement of front letters and bracelet, but it is not. This is the only “MADE IN JAPAN” model in standard digital lineups, even though the full metal premium digital model, such as A1000s, are still made in China.Manufactured in Yamagata Casio, the same factory where hi-end G-shock and Oceanus are coming out. The re-production of this model in Japan began in 2018 with newly developed fully automated line.Casio is actually starting to shift its hand assembling Chinese line to Japanese automated line because of increasing labor cost in China recently.Therefore, some more of these models may be coming out in near future from Japan. As far as I know, there are two versions of A159WA made in Japan in the market mixing right now depending on production year.I assume minor change occured around 2021.The older one has tiny “JAPAN” lettering on bottom-left side of the face.And, newer one has no “JAPAN” lettering on face, but has surrounding line around “WR” on upper-right side.Of couse, both has “JAPAN” lettering on back plate to prove it to be made in Japan.Mine is the new one with “JAPAN” only on back plate.LED light1/100 sec. stopwatch with splitAuto calendarAlarm and ourly signalNew with tag and authetic hologram sticker without box and paper works.If you need instruction manual, I will supply downloadable data links.
