We’ve seen plenty of DEFSTAN straps over the years but think you will find the details is what set these apart from the ordinary. The buckles all have the same finish as the case of Marathon’s tactical dive watches (the TSAR and GSAR). Further, the keepers are low profile and squared at corners. Most have rounded keepers. This adds adds a certain amount of unique distinctiveness to the strap without losing any of its tactical attributes. It also serves a distinct purpose of making them lower profile. This in turn flattens the strap and makes for an very clean wrap around the wrist. Finally, the last keeper is slightly larger to accommodate the double strap again making for a smooth tight fit. We think you will be very impressed with the quality. Stitched and heat sealed, tight weave and thin at about 1.2mm. It is very close to luxury watch brands at half the price.
