The estate-fresh pieces we list are for you.Some run; some do not but none have been cleaned, oiled and calibrated, so whether it is running at the time of this writing or not, one must have the piece serviced before wearing it as an everyday driver.We’re pleased to offer this honest, rather uncommon WWII era “Driva” dress wristwatch in relatively good condition for an 80 year old work of tactile art, featuring an original dial and relatively high-grade running Swiss movement. Measures approx. 35mm by 30mm – not counting crown, of course. Love the period numbers; love the stately, bygone War-Era aura of the piece. The case is rough, so we’re pricing this as a running Driva movement for one to use in the restoration of another piece. I know there are those of you out there who will consider buying this and wearing it, even with the rough case – that’s perfectly fine, if you wish.Also, the piece can be worn as a “prop” watch for your production, as many of our watches are.
