Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible vintage figural giraffe brooch by mid-century designer Robert Mandle. Circa 1960s to 1970s, this gorgeous 2.5-inch pin features an intricately detailed, three-dimensional textured finish that beautifully mimics a giraffe’s coat pattern in bright, heavy gold-tone plating. The reverse side is clearly signed with the authentic “© R. Mandle” oval cartouche stamp, complete with the designer’s signature tiny crown emblem raised above the name. It is in excellent vintage condition with minimal surface wear and features a fully functional, secure roll-over safety clasp. This is a fantastic, hard-to-find piece that makes an excellent addition to any vintage costume jewelry or animal safari collection.
