Here we have a beautiful, 14 karat solid two-tone gold ladies ring featuring an oval natural blue sapphire and 12 round, full brilliant cut natural diamonds. The sapphire measures 5.8 x 4.0 mm with an actual weight of 0.57 carat. This sapphire is a wonderful bright blue color, is completely eye clean, and is well cut. Most all blue sapphires are heat treated, and this one almost certainly was as well, but this is a fine, natural gemstone. Blue sapphire is September’s birthstone, but this ring is a joy to own and wear regardless of your birth month! The diamonds nave an actual combined weight of 0.14 carat. These diamonds have an average color graded at I/J and clarity at SI-2 with good overall cut. The sapphire and the diamonds are all 100% genuine and natural, and the diamonds are untreated, and unenhanced as well. The mounting is by the premium Los Angeles manufacturer Kattan Jewelry, style number ZA70254. This halo design ring is a true two-tone, assembled from three castings; it is much more expensive to create a ring this way than by simply plating highlights in order to give a two-tone look. The ring is currently finger size 6 but is easily sizable by any competent jeweler. It weighs 3.2 grams.
