The stone was mined and cut in AFGHANISTAN, it is a natural color, opaque brown stone, with very nice earthy Terra Cotta hues – these are tribal beads, the shapes are hand cut, and a bit inconsistent in size and shape – they are nicely made, albeit with a few imperfections.
