The underside of the large center stone is cut into a traditional pointed pavilion peak (culet). When viewed from the front, this master faceting creates a stunning kaleidoscope effect, appearing as concentric layers of eye-shaped marquise reflections that stem from the central peak and ripple outward to the edges.
