The elastic design securely holds the watch to your wrist, but allows them to expand and contract as your wrist changes size with temperature throughout the day. The material is elastic marine nationale parachute style, but the straps have a traditional military style dual pass design. It has 3 keepers, one of which is floating. We find this design more comfortable, plus it allows the strap to be swapped without removing the spring bars. We also find them easier to take on and off, and adjust to your wrist.
