This is the Viking Age multi-tool! It’s portable, wearable, functional. Able to chop and slice. It has it all! This masterfully hand-forged Viking Axe Blade Pendant pays homage to the mighty axe, which was both tool and weapon to Viking society. It has been hand-forged using tongs, hammer, and anvil. It’s made of steel and has a twisted flourish to the top to accommodate a leather cord. While we don’t sell this with the blade sharpened, you could actually sharpen it and use it as an actual knife, if you wanted to. So this can be both practical and decorative. It measures 3.25 x 1.75 inches. A genuine leather cord is included for tying around your neck. While this won’t rust for a while, we do recommend wearing this on the outside of your clothes, so sweat and moisture doesn’t accelerate the tarnishing of the item. Not to mention, the little pointy ends of the axe could be semi-sharp against the skin. This handmade treasure will last many lifetimes, and is perfect for any Viking, Dark Age, or contemporary outfit.
