This is a 1930's Ingersoll Mickey Mouse watch which as been thoroughly serviced and is a wearable dependable timepiece on a new leather band. It has been appreciating in value for HALF A CENTURY and will only continue. Everybody wears a watch, who wears AN ORGINAL FIRST MODEL MICKEY MOUSE WATCH? The first ever Mickey Mouse watch was sold at the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. This watch is a c. 1935 watch. This watch will come with our sales receipt with model number, serial number, and authenticity noted. It will also come our Certificate of Authenticity (COA). At the time of the restoration the manual winding pin lever movement was thoroughly serviced and inspected and it is running perfectly. The watch case was ultrasonically cleaned and a new crystal and $33 French leather band was installed. These watches were based on Ingersoll's men's watches of the time period, it measures 32 mm wide excluding the crown and 38mm tall including the lugs. The case shows minor nicks and brassing, totally original and never re-chromed. The dial is original and is beautifully aged. The disc between Mickey's legs is the seconds hand, it rotates once per minute with images of Mickey tumbling as time passes. These are rugged timepieces, you can wear it without fear of breaking it, and this one is a strong runner and keeps time as it should. Every part on this watch is original 1930's Ingersoll except for the band and crystal. The pictures have been taken from every angle and represent the watch well, in fact they are 3x magnified, the dial is beautiful.
