This wonderful 1940s/ 50s Bird Of Paradise is pure nostalgia The stylized, flowing aesthetic is a hallmark of the Retro Modern jewelry period. Cast from pot metal (a common base metal alloy heavily used during WWII when traditional metals like copper and brass were rationed for the war effort) and coated with enamel. A long-tailed Bird of Paradise perched gracefully on a flowering branch, accented with soft pastel shades of pink, yellow, and cream. The Beautiful colours - Pinks and yellows and exquisite design would look wonderful on a summer dress, a wool coat or an evening gown.
