This dramatically deep rich blood red tourmaline is dazzling and full of fire. Tiny rainbows flash from within as light enters the stone from various angles. These flashes are a result of several tiny gas field inclusions, which can be seen under magnification. Gas field inclusions are most common in copper-bearing tourmaline so, this may be a copper-bearing gemstone. A few trichite inclusions can be seen under magnification as well giving clear indication as to it's authenticity.
