'Eurotool' did not invent this pliers design, they simply purchased from the inventor the rights to produce them quite a few years ago. The patent has now expired on the design, so a few other companies are now producing them, as well. I've been pretty happy with the quality of the pliers in this listing, and have used them myself. They are virtually identical to the original designer's version, and are well made and machined. They will fit all the standard-sized crimp beads, basically from 1.8 mm. to 2.3 mm. in diameter. Using them is a two-step process: Once the bead is positioned and the loop of wire is pulled small enough, you squeeze the bead in the lower, 'C' shaped opening in the jaws. You then rotate the bead 90 degrees, place it in the upper, oval-shaped opening in the jaws and squeeze it again. That will fold the 'C' shape back upon itself and form a round bead again.That is all you need to do, other than trimming off the excess wire that is left over. I recommend my 'Flex-Shearz tm' for that job, as that is what I designed and built them for. The crimp bead pliers are 5" long overall, with nice soft vinyl grips and a return spring. The precise body shape and handle color may vary as I have stock from two different manufacturers.
