Beautiful Indian Lac Bangle made in India in the mid 20th century. Lac material is traditional to Rajasthan and Gujarat, India. Seed beads are set directly into the resin, although some are missing. This piece belonged to my grandmother and likely represents the mid-century trend of "Global Souvenir" jewelry. The inner diameter is 2 5/8 inches. Lac is a natural resin, so heat and water should be avoided.
