Up for sale, a mens IWC Aquatimer Jacques Cousteau Edition dive watch. This watch shows some pretty typical wear. I see a few scratches on the lugs and case (and case back edges), and also the perimeter of the rotating bezel. Looks like someone strapped it on and used it as their daily watch. If you are hunting for a mint example, this isn't it. Crystal is clean, dial is beautiful, the 2-touch bezel works properly. The back still has the plastic sticker in place covering the Cousteau engraving, it's showing some fraying at the edges but I just left it in place. I do note that the strap has lost a rubber ring that holds the strap tight (should have 2 - it has 1). Clasp shows some fine scratches. My observations after wearing this for a day..... well, it's a comfortable watch and a decent size. I timed it against the NIST time clock for exactly 24 hours and found that it lost 19 seconds. I think most makers suggest +/- 10 seconds or better per day as a standard so this might need regulation. It has been sitting for several months so may prove more accurate after running it for a few weeks. Anyhow, just be aware that this may need adjustment to improve its accuracy. This comes with the original box and the polishing cloth. The box is in marginal condition and the original pillow that holds the watch is gone (there is one here but it doesn't fit the slot in the box). It does not have the paperwork/card that accompany a new watch. See pics. I think the current retail here is about $5500.
