Bought when I visited Peru, but don’t really wear it. A beautiful Pendant handmade by the artisans of Peru. The "Sacred Flower of Life" design can be found throughout history around the world. A sacred symbol of Sacred Geometry as well, it is thought to depict fundamental aspects of space and time. Multiple small pieces of purple and orange Spiny oyster from the coastline of Peru, Peruvian Turquoise (Chrysocola,) and Sodalite surround even smaller pieces of Peruvian Turquoise. The stones have to be intricately hand-cut before they are inlaid into the bed of sterling silver, an art known to the Sacred Valley. This pendant measures a little over an inch.
