Take the guard and place with arms curved up. 3. Take the ring you want to size and place its shank inside the curved arm of the guard 4. Push down on the guard in such a way that it takes shape of the shank. 5. The shank should rest at the back of the guard's arm i.e. the inside curve, for ideal fit. 6. Using the pliers, tighten the ring guard arms to your ring's shank 7. Once the guard is snugly in place, you may push the flat band of the guard up and down, so as to adjust the size you need to loosen or tighten on your finger.
