Vintage tribal pendant from Waziristan - a tribal region located between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Traditional trapezoidal shape. Series of jingling dangles that make a sound with movement to ward off the evil eye. Red glass center with smaller accents surrounding it to form a flower. The pendant is quite big - 6.5" x 3.75 The metal is oxidized and is a subtle gray/tan color due to the alloy composition. There is surface wear and patina as well.
