Graphite rod is thicker than the standard rods, providing the user good strength and ease of mixing with its thickness. With this wider diameter the rod will last longer as well. Stir your precious metals, scrap metals, while melting. The carbon rod can be used when melting metals in Gas or Electric Melting Furnaces. Rod is used for stirring the molten metal in order to get a good homogenous mix of the alloys in Gold, Silver, Brass as well as other metals.
