This graphite gasket is suited for 6" casting flask, is 1/16" thick material will withstand temperatures of up to 1200°F - 649°C. Gasket are long lasting, can be used even when they wear down to almost paper thin. Note: The Graphite gasket will last long and can be used as long as they are handled properly… avoiding cracking or breakage, they are subject to breakage. Graphite gaskets can be used in combination, along with silicone gaskets for optimum vacuum seal and heat protection. The graphite will prolong the life of the silicone gasket.
