Large holed honeycomb board is a lightweight ceramic that is perforated like a Honeycomb. The holes in the honeycomb board help to evenly disperse heat while soldering during jewelry making and precious metal work. The Honeycomb holes also provide anchor points for pins or wires, very useful to hold parts in place on the surface. This lightweight block is made of non-asbestos ceramics.
